The Berezichi Fund was established by the Scriabine Foundation in 2008 as an Endowment Fund to support the Prince A.D. Obolensky School for Special Children at Berezichi, Kaluga, Russia to ensure that support for the mentally and emotionally handicapped children at the school can continue in perpetuity.

The investment income earned on the fund will provide for the maintenance and upkeep of the school, equipment and facilities for student education, special support and therapy for children in need and scholarships for children requiring further professional or career training. The Berezichi Fund is a way of honoring and helping guarantee that the charitable legacy of the late Prince Alexis Obolensky and his wife Princess Selene Obolensky continues.

The fund is managed with the assistance of the Washington based investment firm Folger Nolan Fleming Douglas Incorporated.  Established in 1889, Folger Nolan Fleming Douglas has established a tradition of providing prudent investment advice for many Washington area investors, including many of Washington’s best-known families.
